Adaptation-integration courses

Integration courses are designed for foreigners who have arrived in Czech Republic and obtained their long-term or permanent residence at any point after January 1, 2021.

The course must be completed within a year of obtaining the document which confirms the residency status.

Right now the courses are not taking place due to Covid-19 emergency. The new course dates will be announced in accordance with the epidemiological situation.

How can I enter the course?

Course for individual foreigners

  1. Complete the registration at https://frs.gov.cz.
  2. Pay the required fee of 1 500 Kč and keep the payment confirmation. Don’t forget to input the variable symbol when completing the payment.
  3. Reserve a suitable date and time slot and wait for this slot to be confirmed via email.
  4. Show up for the course at the agreed date and time. Don’t forget to take the document confirming your residence with you. In case you don’t have that document yet, a travel document (passport) will be enough.

Courses completed through legal entities (not on an individual basis)

  1. Complete the registration at https://frs.gov.cz.
  2. Pay the required fee of 800 Kč and keep the payment confirmation.
  3. Contact the Foreign National Integration Support Centre and agree on the place and time where a trial meeting will be held. You must make sure that a designated employee of the Centre can view the suggested place and establish whether it’s properly equipped for the course.
  4. Once the agreement on the details has been reached, the course can take place.

 

 *The legal entity must cover the administrative expenses, the rent for the place where the course is being presented, as well as the fees for the teachers, translators, and so on.

The legal entity does not have to cover the expenses related to the designated employee of the Centre.

It can be hard to start a new life in a new country. The Integration courses offer a useful first step in figuring out what life in this new country is like.

For foreigners who have just arrived in Czech Republic and plan to stay here for some time, the courses offer basic information about the following:

  • issues related to obtaining the desired residence permit
  • the education system and recognition of foreign academic qualifications

  • family life and the way the state supports families
  • further tips about life in Czech Republic

Courses are presented in Czech and translated into English, Russian, Ukrainian, Vietnamese, French, Mongolian, Serbian

How long does the course take?

The integration course takes 4 hours to complete.

You will complete it by the end of the day for which your appointment has been scheduled.
