Spring is here! The sun is shining, the birds are chirping, but keep in mind that April’s weather is unpredictable. It’s cold in the morning, you need sunglasses in the afternoon, but in the evening you better not forget your coat.
Easter is coming this month; time to dye eggs, to bake mazanec (pastry similar to the hot cross buns) and for the traditional pomlázka (easter whip). Boys whip girls with these willow branches to ensure their health (or so it’s said).
And what else is waiting for us? You can meet us at the Brno Expat Fair in the marketplace at Zelní trh on Saturday, April 12. Come say hi and find out more about our courses and workshops. The entry is free of charge.
We also plan to attend Job Nest, a conference of government and non-profit organizations, where we will talk about the life of foreigners in the South Moravian region. It will take place on April 9 at Masaryk University.

Attend our course on April 8, 2025, from 16:00, where we will explain everything. We will go through the conditions for gaining Czech citizenship, how to apply for it, which documents to attach and what fees you should expect. On top of that, you will also find out when it is possible to obtain exemptions and we will answer your questions.
