Czech grammar courses for EU citizens (autumn 2021)

Dear clients,

We are opening our Czech grammar courses again. The courses start in the week of 13th September 2021. The courses are intended for all citizens of the EU and the European Economic Area who have been living in the South Moravian Region.

• Duration of 1 course: 3 months
  Regularity of lessons: 2 times a week according to the schedule
  Length of lessons: 1 lesson = 3*45 minutes.
  Course Focus: General language courses: vocabulary, grammar, reading, listening, speaking, writing

Course registration: ONLINE on the website of the Centre for Foreigners JMK, 26th August, at 18.00.

PAY ATTENTION: You have to know your language level before application!!!

REGISTRATION TO THE COURSE, 3 options:

1. I AM A CLIENT OF THE CENTRE

   – I have completed a course at the Centre = I know my level –> you continue (apply) to the next level.

2. I AM A NEW CLIENT= I’ve never been to the Center, I’ve never taken a course, I CAN SPEAK CZECH A LITTLE BIT:

• • take the placement test
  • Take the written test online until the end of July 2021.
  • Create an account in our e-learning system: https://www.cizincijmk.cz/elearning/login/signup.php?

  • After completing the test, we will contact you to arrange a personal meeting.

3. I DO NOT SPEAK CZECH AT ALL = DO NOT TAKE THE TEST!!! –>Přihlaste se do kurzu s cílovou úrovní A1.1.

It is possible to enrol ONLY for ONE course. If the lecturer finds that your level of Czech does not match the level of the course, you will be excluded from the course. Therefore, please think carefully about which course you sign up for.

Covid INFO: Courses are held in person at Mezírka 1, Brno. If the situation going worse, the courses will be held online. 

Registration:

1. Select an appropriate course from the list.
2. Fill in the registration form (at the bottom of this page).
3. Fill in the “I am not a robot” field before submitting.
4. Click on the “Submit” button.
5. Wait for a confirmation email to be sent to you within 10 days.
