The first month of the year has flown by and we come to you again with a new offer of February courses, workshops and other events organized in our Centre.
Before we begin this newsletter, we would like to pass on some information from the Diocese Charity Brno:
The consultations for foreigners at Bratislavská 58 are every Monday and Friday for both clients who have reservations and for walk-in clients.
From January 1, 2025, it is possible to pay for administrative fees at the Immigration Office of the South Moravian region in Brno:
In case of personal submission by card at the office of the MoI of the Czech Republic.
In the case of applications sent by post or a data box, by bank transfer via a generator of payment information at the Information portal for foreigners. If you have trouble with the generation of payment information, it is possible to send the ministry (by data box or by putting it into an envelope) a request for payment information. The MoI of the Czech Republic will send the payment information immediately.
And what are we preparing for you this month?
Courses - Teenagers
We will be offering Exam Preparation courses for high school applicants that will begin on February 10, 2025 and will run until April 11, 2025. But that's not all! Our Czech for Teens courses for levels A1-A2 and B1+ start on the same day. These courses will run until May 15, 2025.

Workshops - Choosing a School
In addition to language and other types of knowledge, it is also important to know your educational options. We know that the Czech education system is complicated for foreigners, which is why we decided to prepare 2 meetings with career counselors in our Youth Club! On February 5, we will give you advice on how to choose a high school and on February 7 how to choose a university.

Paid Courses
For the very first time we are launching our paid courses of Czech language for foreigners! We will begin on February 17, 2025; until then you have time to submit your registration and begin your journey of learning Czech with us! Our teachers are looking forward to meeting you.
