Exhibition: Enthrallment with Africa

The exhibition Enthrallment with Africa presents works of art documenting the influence
of Africa on Czech artists from the beginning of the 20th century to the present days. The
exhibition stages also Czech artists who started collecting African artefacts and building
collections of indigenous art that represented an inspiration basis of their creation and artistic
expression. The aim of the exhibition is to show the beginnings, the growth and accumulation
of artistic interest in African continent in the context of Czech plastic art.
