Personal data protection

The basic information and instructions on the processing of personal data in accordance with Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council on the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data and repealing Directive 95/46/EC (General Data Protection regulation) – GDPR

1) The administrator:

3) The processing of personal data for the purpose of ensuring the Region’s compliance with its legal obligations (or any tasks undertaken in the public’s interest or as part of the performance of the Region’s jurisdiction) is directly designated for the Region by the special regulations or any such obligations may also arise for the Region on the basis of the special regulations. The personal data processed on the aforementioned grounds can be provided to the inspection and supervisory bodies for the “South Moravian Regional Centre for the Support of the Integration of Foreigners” project and to any other entities which are obliged to handle the given personal data during their activities. 

4) The processing of the personal data by the Region does not lead to any automated decision-making on any tasks or decisions, the contents of which could constitute intervention in the rights or justified interests of the clients of the South Moravian Regional Centre for the Support of the Integration of Foreigners.

5) The personal data is only processed at the Region for the essential period, which differs depending on the various processing purposes. The personal data is then destroyed after the expiry of the essential period or it is further stored throughout the period designated in the valid Filing and Shredding Plan published by the Regional Authority of the South Moravian Region.

6) If your personal data is processed by the Region, you are entitled to:

  1. request information about the processing of your personal data,
  1. request access to your personal data,
  2. request the correction of any incorrect personal data (if you are of the opinion that your personal data processed by the Region is inaccurate),
  3. request the deletion of your personal data or request its limited processing,
  4. lodge an objection with regard to the processing of your personal data,
  5. request the transferability of the personal data which you have provided to the Region,
  6. submit a complaint to the supervisory body.

7) Your requests will always be duly assessed and settled in accordance with the appropriate provisions of Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council on the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data and repealing Directive 95/46/EC(General Data Protection regulation).

8) If the processing of your personal data is conditional upon your prior consent, you have the right to withdraw said consent. This will not, however, affect the legality of the consent-based processing which occurred prior to its withdrawal.

9) When exercising any of your rights in relation to the Region, please do so via the representative for personal data protection.
