State Support for Maternity and Parenthood in the Czech Republic (ENG)

Parenthood brings plenty of joy, but also questions about money, benefits, and the conditions for receiving them, which can sometimes be difficult to understand. At the presentation, we will provide a clear overview of the support available in the Czech Republic and explain what foreign parents should be aware of.
At the presentation, you will learn:
- what types of support parents in the Czech Republic may be entitled to;
- the difference between maternity leave and maternity benefit (“peněžitá pomoc v mateřství” – PPM);
- who is eligible for the parental allowance;
- what conditions foreign nationals must meet to be eligible for state social support.
The presentation will be interpreted into English.
