The South Moravian Regional Centre to Support the Integration of Foreigners is a project of the South Moravian Region, which is co-financed by the National Fund of the Asylum, Migration and Integration Fund (AMIF). The Centre’s activities support the integration of foreigners into Czech society. The main objective is to ensure equal access to integration services and qualified integration support.

In cooperation with our partners we provide the following services free of charge:

Professional legal, social and employment advice,

- Czech language and computer courses,

- Assistance in negotiating with the authorities,

- Free internet access,

- Foreign literature library,

- Socio-cultural orientation courses

- Adaptation and integration courses for newly arrived foreigners

- Lectures, workshops and seminars for the general and professional public,

- Leisure activities and other services (see section "Další služby").


Integration inSouth Moravian region is devided in two parts. One is dedicated to EU citizens and the other one is for the others.

Services of this Centre are intended for:

  • Foreigners from third countries (i.e. non-EU countries) who are authorised to reside in the Czech Republic (i.e. have a long-term or permanent residence permit; have a long-term visa; have a temporary residence permit for family members of EU citizens; are taking part in visa proceedings in order to be allowed residence in the Czech Republic; are taking part in proceedings in order to be granted a long-term or permanent residence permit; are taking part in proceedings in order to be granted a temporary residence permit for family members of EU citizens),

  • Persons who have been granted international protection (asylum, subsidiary protection).

In cooperation with integration actors within the region, the Centre provides information and support to both foreigners and the majority community including public administration bodies.
